From East Earl to Centre Hall:
The Story Behind Simply Blessed
Welcome to Simply Blessed Farm and the Fisher family!
Moving from East Earl to Centre County in August of 2017, with our yong children, our dream was to grow and sell fresh vegetablles and berries from a retail farm stand. Starting a business from scratch is tough and selling only vegetables, etc. is a very slow turn-around. So with a kick start from a cousin and working together as a team we dreamed up and started a Saturday chicken barbeque, at first targeting the Penn State home games. It made a splash, and we did three weekend of barbeques until the weather got cold, and resolved to star tagain in the spring with high hopes.
Fast forward to 2026, as of November 2025 we are now 2 miles from our 1st business ventures, on a farm of our own, with dreams of expanding our catering menu, in addition to continuing our farm stand.
